Academy
A tuition-free, elite software apprenticeship for high-potential Rwandan builders. We don't train many people — we train the right people, deeply. Each cohort doesn't just learn to code; they discover a real local problem, build a real product, and ship it.
Our operating model: Learn → Discover → Build → Launch. Graduates leave with production-grade experience, a shipped product, and the confidence to work on any team in the world.
The academy is in active development. We're looking for sponsors, mentors, and the first cohort of exceptionally driven people.
Free & Elite
Tuition-free, but brutally selective. We choose for discipline, grit, and learning speed — not just prior experience.
Tiny on Purpose
2 participants per track. 4–6 per cohort. Deep mentorship, daily code reviews, and one-on-one sessions that scale with you, not past you.
Build Real Products
No fake portfolio projects. Every cohort discovers a local problem, builds a real MVP, and ships it to real users.
Africa as the Lab
Students interview real people, document real problems, and build locally-relevant products. The continent is the curriculum.

250labs is a Rwandan technology company building purposeful products for Africa and the world. The name reflects our identity — rooted in the region, with ambitions that stretch far beyond it.
We are a small, focused team with a big mandate: to prove that world-class technology can be built from Africa, for Africa, and exported to the world. We move fast, iterate constantly, and build things we believe in.
Our pipeline includes two mobile applications and a technology academy — all in active development, all designed to change how people interact with their world.
