The problem

A damaged road, a broken water line, an overflowing drain. Residents need a way to put local issues on the map and follow what happens after they report them, with a clear record of each issue and its progress.

02

Our contribution

250foundries built Pulse250 as a civic reporting product, bringing location-based submissions, optional photos, a map of local issues, and report tracking into one web experience.

03

Key decisions

01 /

Give each report enough context.

A category, description, and location form the core of a report. An optional photo adds visual evidence, while a tracking reference lets people return to the issue.

02 /

Make place part of the report.

An interactive map gives reports a local context. People can explore issues around them as well as submit their own.

03 /

Keep the conversation accessible.

English and Kinyarwanda support makes room for different readers. Report tracking gives each submission a life beyond the initial form.

04

The result

Pulse250 is deployed as a web application with a sign-in entry point. The implementation includes a report map, photo-supported submissions, and a history of changes between open, in-progress, and resolved states. English and Kinyarwanda are supported throughout the reporting experience.
